eTech Ohio Commission Appoints Barber as
Interim Director

The eTech Ohio Commission recently announced the appointment of David Barber as the interim executive director of the agency. Barber began his employment with the organization in April.

"I am honored to fulfill the position of interim executive director," Barber said. "eTech Ohio is a exciting organization and I look forward to administering its mission to advance education and accelerate the learning of Ohioans through technology."

eTech Ohio and OSFC Gather Data from School Representatives to Present, Build New Online Toolkit

eTech Ohio and the Ohio Schools Facilities Commission (OSFC) are currently assisting school districts who plan to build new facilities. Through this collaboration, experienced school districts are able to share informative

feedback with other school communities; address the importance of the technology planning process throughout all phases of the school construction project; and discuss the necessary preparation for stakeholders to create 21st century schools.
